# Welcome to CrushSuite Clubs

CrushSuite Clubs turns your Shopify store into a recurring wine club platform — scheduled release shipments, member self-service, and batched billing, without Shopify Plus.

### What CrushSuite Clubs does

A club is a recurring membership a customer joins once and then keeps receiving shipments from. You schedule those shipments as **releases**. Each release has its own products, dates, and shipping and discount settings, and you can give members a window to customize their box before it ships.

CrushSuite Clubs handles the parts that are hard to run by hand:

* **Releases** — schedule a shipment, curate the wines, and let members swap products inside a customization window.
* **Batched billing** — CrushSuite generates each member's subscription contract and bills the whole release in the run-up to the release date.
* **Member self-service** — members change their address, payment method, and box, and skip, pause, or cancel, from a **Clubs** page inside Shopify **Customer Accounts**.
* **In-store signup** — enroll members at the counter through the Shopify POS extension.
* **Migration** — import an existing club from another platform, with validation before anything is created.

### How setup is organized

Getting a club live runs in three phases:

1. **Phase 1 — Set Up Your Club.** Install the app and create your first club.
2. **Phase 2 — Connect Your Storefront.** Add the theme app block that lets customers sign up, then configure the member portal, email branding, and POS.
3. **Phase 3 — Launch.** Work through the Go-Live Checklist and run a few test orders before you open signups to real customers.

If your winery also ships regulated alcohol, see the **CrushSuite Compliance** section. It handles permit checks and per-state rules, and adds per-order compliance fees to your release orders through each club's **Compliance Fees** setting. How the two apps interact is covered in [Clubs & CrushSuite Compliance](https://crushsuite.gitbook.io/docs/clubs/reference/clubs-and-crushsuite-compliance).
