# Go-Live Checklist

***

#### Configuration

* [ ] A plan is selected — without one, the app nav is empty.
* [ ] Your club is created, with **Visibility** set correctly (**Published** to go live now, **Hidden (Draft)** to stay invite-only).
* [ ] **Market** is confirmed correct — it sets the club's currency and region.
* [ ] Timezone is confirmed correct. You can still change it later in **Clubs** → \[Club Name] → **Settings**, but confirm it now so your release dates land where you expect.
* [ ] Open **Settings** and click **Save Settings** once, even if you change nothing. Until you do, scheduled member emails — customization reminders, the order processing notice, and card expiry warnings — won't send.
* [ ] Default shipping is configured in Settings.
* [ ] **Compliance Fees** is set deliberately on the club — **Add compliance fee to each order** or **Do not add compliance fees**, in **Clubs** → \[Club Name] → **Settings**.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Market** cannot be changed after a club is created. If it's wrong, the only fix is to create a new club with the correct market.
{% endhint %}

***

#### Storefront

* [ ] The **Club Membership Signup Widget** app block is added to the club product's template.
* [ ] **Club Migration** is enabled only if you're migrating members from another platform.
* [ ] **Consent text**, **Club policy text**, and **Club policy link** are set the way you want them.
* [ ] Signup cutoff behavior is chosen — if you want signup to close, both **Hide signup after cutoff date** and a **Cutoff message** are set.

***

#### Shopify prerequisites

* [ ] Your store is on Shopify's new Customer Accounts (classic accounts have no member portal at all).
* [ ] Your payment gateway supports subscriptions.
* [ ] Shipping zones and rates exist for the club's market.
* [ ] An inventory location is chosen on the club.
* [ ] Your club is **Published** and its product is published to the POS sales channel, if you're using POS. Hidden clubs don't appear in POS.
* [ ] The CrushSuite Clubs POS tile is added to your Smart Grid, if you're using POS — it's the one POS step that isn't automatic.

#### Test scenarios

Run these end to end with a test customer before opening to real traffic.

1. **Join the club.** Sign up as a test customer through the storefront (or POS) and confirm the welcome email arrives.
2. **Check the portal.** Confirm the **Clubs** entry appears in that test customer's account and they can update their address there.
3. **Run a release.** Create a draft release, publish it, and confirm your test member appears on it. Release orders aren't created at publish — CrushSuite creates them automatically once the customization deadline has passed and the release date is close. If you want to watch that happen while testing, set the customization deadline on your test release a few minutes out.

***

#### Before real traffic

* [ ] No shipping-rate warning banner appears on the release form.
* [ ] No **Needs attention** card appears on your Home screen. The card only shows up when something needs fixing, so its absence is the pass condition.
* [ ] At least one test order has billed successfully.

#### You're Live

Once every box above is checked and your test scenarios pass, your club is ready for real customers. From here, day-to-day work moves to [How Releases Work](https://crushsuite.gitbook.io/docs/clubs/managing-releases/how-releases-work) and [Adding Members Manually](https://crushsuite.gitbook.io/docs/clubs/managing-members/adding-members-manually).

{% hint style="info" %}
If something doesn't behave as expected once you're live, the Troubleshooting section covers app embeds, emails, POS signups, and release billing individually. If you can't find it there, [contact our support team](https://crushsuite.com/contact) — we're here to help.
{% endhint %}
