# Setting Up Your Club Product Page

The Club Membership Signup Widget's settings — its text, the optional "How it works" popup, and signup cutoff behavior. Takes about 8 minutes.

### Before you start

* You've already added the **Club Membership Signup Widget** app block to your club product's template. See [Setting Up Your Club Product Template](/docs/clubs/getting-started/setting-up-your-club-product-template.md) if you haven't.
* Open **Shopify Admin** → Online Store → Themes → Customize and select the block.

### Configuring the block

1. **Set your sign up form text.** In the **Sign up form** section, **Form title** heads the address fields — leave it empty for the default. **Signup Button Text** defaults to **Sign up**. **Error Message** appears if something goes wrong during signup, default `Sorry, there was an error adding the club membership to your cart. Please try again.`
2. **Read the default Consent text before you go live.** **Consent text** ships pre-filled with a sentence explaining that membership and release charges are separate. CrushSuite shows it as a required checkbox above the signup button, and the customer can't sign up until they check it. Edit it to match your own terms, or clear the field to remove the checkbox.
3. **Set up the How It Works popup**, an optional explainer for first-time visitors. **Show "How it works" button** is on by default — turn it off and the feature disappears. Set the **Button label** (default **How it works**), **Button style** (**Outline**, **Link**, or **Solid**), **Button color** (border and text for Outline, text for Link, background for Solid), **Button text color** (**Solid** only), **Corner radius** (0–50px, default `4`, hidden for Link), and **Button position** (default below the signup button). **Popup content** is editable HTML, pre-filled with a default explanation.
4. **Decide whether signup closes at the cutoff.** **Hide signup after cutoff date** is off by default. Turn it on and the whole signup widget — address form, consent checkbox, **How it works** button, and policy line — is replaced by your **Cutoff message** (default `Signup for the current release has closed. Check back soon!`) once the current release's signup cutoff passes. Set a **Cutoff message** without turning **Hide signup after cutoff date** on and the message never displays — signup just stays open. CrushSuite uses that cutoff, or the customization deadline if you didn't set one, and only refreshes it when you publish or update a release — so signup stays hidden between releases until your next one is published.
5. **Add your club policy link.** Set **Club policy text** (default `See policy page for full details.`) and **Club policy link**. The line appears only when a link is set.
6. Click **Save**.

### The club product needs no inventory or shipping setup

The membership is digital — no shipping profile, and inventory policy is set to continue selling automatically. There's nothing to configure on the product itself.

### What your member sees

The address form collects first name, last name, address, an optional apartment/suite line, city, state or province, postal code, and phone — everything except the apartment/suite line is required. State/province is a dropdown for US, CA, AU, GB, ES, IT, and PT markets and free text elsewhere; country comes from the customer's market and isn't collected. On submit, the membership is added to the cart and the cart drawer opens.
